Skinny guy was dreaming big—he thought if they could milk some serious cash out of Theodore, they'd be set for life.
"Big guy, I'm done living like this, always looking over my shoulder. This is our last job, and then we're out. Don't you want that too?" His eyes practically glowed as he pictured a cushy future.
But the big guy looked at him like he'd lost his mind—clearly, he thought Skinny was out of line, ready to risk it all for money.
While they bickered, Theodore quietly worked on the knots around his wrists.
Victoria watched, shocked. The ropes were just as tight on him as they were on her, and they couldn't even reach the knot—how on earth was he managing that?
"If you're too scared to go through with it, don't come crying to me when the money comes rolling in," Skinny said, with nothing but disdain. Then he started walking toward them.
Theodore had already loosened the ropes, but still sat like he was tied up.
