When Henry saw how nervous Victoria looked, something twisted in his chest. After hesitating for a second, he ended up swallowing the words that were about to spill out.
He just had a gut feeling—if he laid everything out about how he really felt, they'd probably not even be able to stay friends. She might start avoiding him completely.
