Victoria had considered a lot of possibilities, but she seriously hadn't expected Natalie to bring her all the way here.
Don't tell her—if they fail to talk things through, Natalie might just shove her into the river?
Just as that uneasy thought crossed her mind, Natalie gave a faint smile. "You're probably thinking—what if I get pissed off and dump your body into the river, right?"
Victoria coughed awkwardly, clearly embarrassed to be called out like that.
"Well, I wouldn't blame you," Natalie said casually. "I've been nothing but a villain in your eyes. You didn't even call the cops on me straightaway—it's probably the nicest thing you could've done for someone like me, huh?"
