Inside the police station.
Chief Warren had taken over the interrogation himself—just from that, you could tell how seriously they were treating this case.
In the cold and tense interrogation room, Victoria sat calmly in her chair, totally composed.
That was, until Chief Warren placed a clear evidence bag in front of her—inside was a wristwatch. That was when the calm on her face finally cracked.
"We only found your fingerprints on this watch."
It was the only piece of evidence from the crime scene, and currently their only real lead.
After detectives pulled multiple all-nighters on the case, all signs suddenly pointed to one person—Victoria.
Suddenly, the entire station was shaken. Was it possible that the serial killer they'd been chasing all along... was her?
Chief Warren didn't miss the flicker in her expression.
"If the watch is yours, care to explain why it turned up at the crime scene?"
Victoria's hand moved subconsciously to her other wrist, as if trying to feel for the missing
