Thanks to Victoria and Henry's combined efforts, Hannah finally let go of what Davina had said earlier.
"I'm bored out of my mind stuck at home every day. I'm not going back," Hannah protested, sounding like a grumpy kid.
Victoria gave Henry a helpless glance—she really had no clue how to handle this.
"Mrs. Ellis, if you don't want to go home, how about we grab a meal together first? Then we can take a little stroll through the mall afterwards?" Henry offered smoothly.
Right now, he was trying to score some brownie points with William and Hannah—good opportunity to play the good guy card.
"Now that's thoughtful, Henry. Let's do that," Hannah nodded, clearly pleased.
Especially after comparing him with Theodore and Davina earlier, she found Henry even more likable.
Victoria, though, hesitated. Hannah's mood had been unstable lately, and she was genuinely worried something might go wrong. Running into Davina again would just make things worse—outside wasn't like home, way too many unpred
