A Wolf Projection
Emily's POV.
With that cryptic message, the wolf leaped off the table and out the window, disappearing into the night.
For a long moment, nobody moved. Nobody spoke. We all just stared at the open window, trying to process what had just happened. The cool night air wafted in, carrying with it the scent of jasmine and something wild, untamed.
Finally, it was Garrett who broke the silence. "Well," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice, "I don't recall that being on the dinner menu."
His words seemed to break the spell. Suddenly, everyone was talking at once, their voices overlapping in a cacophony of confusion and excitement.
"Did that wolf just talk?" Logan asked, his eyes wide with disbelief. "I mean, I know we're werewolves, but that's... that's not normal, right?"
Luca leaned back in his chair, a grin spreading across his face despite the chaos. "Dude, nothing about this dinner has been normal. But a talking wolf? That's some serious Narnia-level stuff right there."
