Camila stepped into the villa and froze. The floor was a mess of unconscious guards sprawled everywhere. Heart pounding, she lifted her gaze, scanning anxiously for Prescott in the chaos. But before she could make sense of anything, a pair of arms like steel bars wrapped tightly around her slender waist. "Ah-!" She yelped instinctively. She struggled, but whoever held her had an iron grip that bit into her waist with brutal force. It hurt. A lot. She squirmed, trying to free herself, but her efforts barely made a difference. The man yanked her forward, pulling her into a chest as hard as stone. She slammed into him, the impact making her dizzy, her eyes tearing up from the sudden shock. As her vision cleared, she looked up-and went stiff. It was him. "Prescott-" she barely got the name out before he crushed his mouth over hers.
