"Nina, Alexander, I'll take Bella to check out the room first. You two go ahead and catch up." With that, Camila pulled Bella away with a smile, leaving the couple some space. Alexander looked a bit travel-worn, the kind of tired you carry after a flight. Clearly, he came straight over when he saw them. Camila figured she'd spare them the awkwardness—after all, they'd just reunited. No one wants to third-wheel that. Once Camila and Bella disappeared down the hallway, Nina turned her face slightly to glance at Alexander. "Tired?" He wrapped his arms around her from behind, his voice low and warm at her ear, "Not at all. These few days apart… did you miss me?" His breath tickled her skin, making her shiver just a little. She tilted her head to dodge. "Cut it out! It’s broad daylight, and we’re not even inside." He chuckled softly, her coy reaction clearly amusing him.
