Chapter 103 Elaine Was Watching Him
Joseph hurried upstairs and opened the bedroom door, only to find the room in complete chaos.
Agatha had been burned. She was on the couch, gasping for breath as Elaine stayed beside her. Meanwhile, Sheryl was lying on the floor, clutching her forehead and crying out in pain. Her forehead was beginning to swell.
Several maids rushed in and quickly helped Sheryl to her feet.
"What's going on?" Joseph asked coldly.
Elaine was using a towel to tend to the burn. She didn't speak and simply cast a sharp, hostile glare at Sheryl.
Always the kind soul she ever was, Agatha immediately began to try to explain, even defending Sheryl a little.
"The medicinal soup had just been brought in, and it was still hot. Ms. Nagel probably found it interesting and tried to take a sip.
"My eyes were closed, so I wasn't aware. She got burned and flung the bowl away, spilling a bit on me."
