Thea walked into the living room, her face filled with disbelief as she looked at Wendy. She said, "Wendy, I don't recall ever offending you. What gives you the right to spread such vicious lies about me? "I understand that you used to work for Mrs. Frey Senior and are fiercely loyal to her. You could've claimed that I left the country on my own. Why did you have to fabricate a story about Mr. Nagel and me?" Skylar glanced over. "I left bodyguards at the hospital. Why are you back so soon?" Thea moved closer to him, looking aggrieved. "I saw you leave in such a hurry. I was worried that something had happened to you. I couldn't stay behind, so I followed you back." Skylar didn't rush to make a judgment. He patted the space on the couch beside him. "There's no rush. Let's sit down and talk this through. Wendy has looked after Grandma for 20 years. There might be some misunderstanding here." His words made it clear that he wasn't ready to believe that Wendy would deliberately lie
