Lacey pulled on the reins, slowing her horse as she watched Nadia's mount bolt away into the distance. A satisfied smile spread across her face.
She scoffed silently. Brittany was the better choice anyway. Nadia could fall for all she cared. A beginner on a horse like that was bound to get hurt. If she didn't die, she'd end up crippled.
