Chapter 156
When Celestia first heard Victoria say that Marigold wanted to see her, the very first thing that popped into her head was-did she mess up again? Honestly, no one could blame her for thinking that way.
The first impression Marigold left on her was overwhelming; that strong, cold aura had really shaken her back then. And when she'd just arrived, Marigold's obvious disapproval didn't help either-it made her instinctively nervous around her.
Sure, things had gotten better between them lately, and Marigold had even allowed her to call her "Grandma," but that didn't change the fact that Celestia still got kind of anxious around her.
But worrying wouldn't change anything. What had to be faced, had to be faced. "Alright," she nodded and agreed softly.
Meanwhile, next door at the Ryans' place, in the study.
The room had a classic, old-world charm, filled with the rich scent of books. A hint of sunlight streamed in through half-drawn curtains, giving the large space a faint sense of brightness.
