The moment he brought up marriage, Celestia instantly recalled what just happened. Her brows furrowed tightly as she stared straight at Jareth and said coldly, "I don't know what you're trying to pull here, but let me be clear-I'm not marrying you."

Jareth's smile froze on his lips.
Any other woman would be thrilled to have the chance to marry him, yet she looked like the mere idea disgusted her. That stung a bit, and a flicker of anger sparked in Jareth's pitch-black eyes.
Even though her refusal made his temper flare, he didn't let it show. His tone stayed cold and unreadable. "Seems like you forgot-you don't exactly get to decide. Whether we get married or not isn't up to you."
"You-!" Celestia's face turned beet red with fury, totally speechless.
But Jareth wasn't done. He poured more fuel on the fire, like he was hell-bent on pushing her buttons. "When I want something, no one can stop me. As for you, just get used to it."
