Victoria waited a bit longer. Seeing Celestia looking so torn, she couldn't bring herself to push her any harder.
Well, looks like her guess had hit the mark.
Sighing softly, she looked down, then spoke again, her tone full of gentle persuasion.
"If you really don't want the wedding, I won't make you. But can I ask one thing? Just think about it a little more, okay? There's still time before the date we've set. Use it to figure things out. And if, in the end, you still feel the same... we'll drop it."
Celestia looked into her mother's eyes, seeing the heartfelt plea there. She really couldn't say no. In the end, she just gave a small nod.
