Lucy suddenly let out a laugh that reeked of provocation. "Come on, Calliope, still mad about that? It happened ages ago, you've remarried, haven't you? So why are you still hung up on Mr. Sterling?"
She smirked and added, "Or is it just that you can't stand the fact that Angelina's simply better than you?"
Angelina took the cue, stepping forward with a furrowed brow. "Calliope, I've really been trying to keep the peace lately. I'm exhausted. I'm not asking for your forgiveness, but could you just stop targeting me for no reason? I don't want this to affect anyone else because of me."
