Olivia quickly dug out a pen from her bag and handed it over, grumbling, "Yeah, always got one on me now. Working for Bradley, that guy's so lazy, he makes me carry everything."
Calliope took the pen, scribbling several addresses on the last page of the file without looking up. "You two made up or something?"
Olivia let out a deep sigh and leaned against the balcony railing.
"Not really."
"I just needed a job at a law firm, he just happened to need an assistant. We made a deal - if I stick it out for a year, he'll take me to see my adoptive parents."
