Kristen's face was scrunched up in distress, her fair skin smeared with mud.
Nathaniel did not find her disheveled state repulsive. Instead, he felt a twinge of pity for the face that resembled Sheena so much.
Following Nathaniel's advice, Kristen composed herself and accompanied him to the beach to find a suitable spot.
The village was so primitive that they still practiced traditional burials.
Kristen wanted to bury Agatha properly but could not find the right place.
Nathaniel thought for a moment and suggested, "It will be time-consuming and difficult to bury her here. This place is not suitable for long-term stay. How about we take her to a crematorium in town? We could even consider a sea burial. Maybe she would want to remain in the sea they loved."
Kristen quickly agreed.
This was not a difficult decision for her, especially since her connection to Agatha was merely an act.
She wanted to wrap up this charade as soon as possible.
