It had been a month since Heather found out about Wilson's deceit. It was the first time Madison had heard her friend speak about it since the incident. She had assumed that Heather was silent about it because she couldn't move on from it. Yet, after reading Heather's lengthy message, Madison understood that the former had truly moved forward from it.
"You're absolutely right, Sam! It was merely an ill-fated first love, so there's no point dwelling on it. And instead of wasting any more time or energy on someone like him, it would be better to get more rest or take a walk outside!"
Heather sighed in relief when she realized that Madiosn understood her explanation.
