Julia frowned, wondering who had sent her those anonymous messages.
It could be someone working at Sebastian's office, but definitely not a pawn instructed by Penelope.
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
"Ms. Summers, Mrs. Summers said that she'd come to the office to pick you up if you worked overtime and didn't go home again," said Cameron, who knocked on the door.
The emotions in Julia's eyes faded. She checked the time and realized that it was almost eight.
"Okay. Thank you for informing, Mr. Lynch."
Julia didn't probe into the identity of the person who sent her messages or whether they harbored ulterior motives.
After tidying up the files before her, she stood up and switched off the light before leaving. The spacious room instantly turned dark.
Meanwhile, in the restaurant, Sebastian peeked at his phone from time to time. Even after Xavier finished his meal, he didn't receive a single reply from Julia.
