"Mmm…" Selena nodded. "Because of Louisa?" Elijah asked. She nodded again. Elijah assumed Selena was just overly worried about Louisa and was about to comfort her when Selena suddenly started complaining. "Gosh! You have no idea how hard Zane Tiger's life is. He's so innocent, yet he has to be a vessel for that two-faced Lucian Magnus, who could lose control anytime and have him killed. And Gideon Skylar dies so early! It's devastating!" Elijah blinked, staring at Selena in utter confusion. Only then did Selena realize what she'd said. She scratched her head awkwardly and explained, "It's a cartoon Louisa likes. We were chatting last night, and I found out she likes watching it, so I stayed up all night watching it." Seeing how far Selena was willing to go for Louisa made Elijah feel warm inside. He quietly poured a glass of warm milk and slid it in front of her. "Milk helps you sleep. Eat something, then go catch up on sleep." Selena accepted happily and smiled gratefully at h
