Gabriel jolted awake, gasping for air. The first thing he saw was Linda's anxious face hovering over him. "Are you okay, Gabriel?" she asked, her voice full of concern. Gabriel couldn't think of anything but Eliana. All he wanted was to find her. If he could just go back to the day before everything fell apart, he was sure he could make things right. But no matter how much he wanted to move, his body wouldn't listen. Instead, he found himself smiling at Linda. He said, "It's nothing. Let's go.
