"Do you work so many jobs every day just to send money to an orphanage?" Sienna asked in awe while holding the notebook.
Zayn took the notebook back. His fingers gently rubbed the edge of the cover as he replied evenly, "Yes. That's the orphanage where I grew up. The director raised me. Now, it's my turn to help them."
Sienna froze for a moment and finally understood why Zayn still worked two part-time jobs despite consistently getting the scholarship. He also wore the same faded clothes and always ordered the cheapest meals. It turned out that most of his earnings were sent back to the orphanage.
Looking at his lean profile, a complicated feeling surged within Sienna. It consisted of aching tenderness and deep admiration.
She would soon discover that Zayn was even more remarkable than she had imagined.
