"We literally didn't do anything, sis, why are you being so dramatic?" Chloe blinked innocently and shrugged, looking helpless.
Irene clung to Hank's arm like nothing happened, chin up, tone snarky. "Well, it better be nothing. Hank, let's go."
She thought Hank would at least give her that much in public—save face or something. But nope, he just pulled his arm right out of hers and took a couple of steps to the side.
"What are you doing here?"
With a hand covering her mouth, Chloe chuckled lightly. "I invited him. Figured it's been a while since we last caught up as sisters."
Hank's brows knitted together. He seriously doubted Chloe would just casually hang out with Irene after everything she did to her.
"Yeah, there was a lot of bad blood between us before. But it's different now. I'm not about to fight with my sister over you anymore, so... no more drama."
Her voice was clear, but Hank just frowned harder.
"I broke up with her three years ago."
