At the Shaw's private hospital. Karen woke up slowly. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Maggie bend over the edge of her bed. She frowned and said displeased, "Mom, what are you doing here?" Maggie jumped up abruptly. "You had such an accident. How could I not come here to take care of you?" Karen touched her head and remembered she and Nathan got engaged today and she had a car accident on the way. She was startled and asked hastily, "Mom, where's Nathan? Is he okay?" "He has a massive brain haemorrhage and hasn't wakened up yet. The doctors said he might not wake up from the vegetative state." Maggie pressed down her lips and said, "Fortunately you two are not engaged yet. If you marry him, your life will be ruined!" "What?" Karen lifted the quilt and wanted to get out of the bed hurriedly. "What are you doing?" Maggie pressed Karen back to the bed and said, "Your leg is broken. And you still care about others? Be careful. Don't make yourself handicaped for the rest of your lif
