Chapter 03

Natalie‘s POV A knock on the door roused my sister and me from our sleep. Tionne opened the door and I saw Monica, my servant. Monica told us, "Miss Tionne, Miss Natalie, Alpha sent me to inform you. Proud Eagle Pack's First Beta Dent has arrived. “ "Okay, Monica, we'll pack up and be right there. “ My sister and I quickly finished washing and prepared to walk to the reception room. I stood in the doorway and looked around the room. I've lived here for 18 years, and NOW I'm leaving. When I dragged my suitcase out of the door, my heart was broken again and again. I've never been away from home for long. In fact, I haven't left since I was born. I was a little sad, but also a little longing for the outside world. Sister's been out with most of the pack. I was the only one who didn't go out because OF my strange appearance. No Wolf ever grew up with white hair like me. Would the Proud Eagle Pack freak out when they saw what I looked like? I entered the reception room with trepidation. The room was filled with a smell I had never smelled before, and it was very refreshing. My father, the elders and leaders of the community were all in the hall. And I saw the back of a guy in a suit. He quickly turned and bowed to me. "Miss Natalie, I am the First Beta Dent of Proud Eagle Pack. “ He has black hair and green single-lidded eyes. Skin is the color of wheat. He is 1. 8 meters tall. He stood there in his suit with an air of dignity. He's so handsome, I said to myself. "Nice to meet you. “ I smiled, but didn't bow to him. I'm Alpha's daughter. I bow only to my father and other alpha men. "It's my pleasure, Miss Natalie. “ He said. He looked up at me for a moment. He seemed a little shocked. Hasn't he seen a picture of me? But his shock was fleeting. And then he turned to my father and said, "Alpha Orestes, I think we have to go now. Alpha Ken is expecting us tonight, and I think Miss Natalie is ready to go. “ I hugged everyone in the hall. When I hugged my sister, she cried again. "Call us when you get there. “ I wiped the tears from her face. “ I will," I answered. Then we went out of the drawing-room and out of the castle gates. I was pulling a sled down the hill when Dent stopped me. "Miss Natalie, we don't use this. Let's go this way. “ Dent took my luggage and led me to the back of the castle. Soon I saw a plane on the big platform behind the castle. I had never flown before, but I had seen it in a book, so I recognized it immediately. I quickly ran to the plane to touch its body. Dent looked at my behavior with a half-smile, as if he was looking at a childish child. Then he walked me into the plane. The plane is not as big as the one in the book, so it can only seat four people. But there are couches to lie down on, tea rooms and televisions. Dent sat me down in a seat and then sat across from me and stared at me. "What are you looking at? I look strange, don't I?” I asked carefully. Being different from others since childhood still makes me feel inferior. "You don't look like your picture. You're prettier than your picture. " He said, raising an eyebrow. By hearing him finish this sentence, I already knew what kind of character he was. I turned away from him and looked out the window. Soon the plane took off, and as I watched our castle and our pack grow smaller and smaller, a sense of sadness soon came over me. I already miss my father, my sister, and…Doran. It takes a lot of courage to go to a completely strange place by yourself. Although I went there on a mission. Dent spoke up while I was in a sentimental mood. “Miss Natalie, this is your first time to fly, right? Are you afraid? “ 'How can it be! “ Angrily, I stood up and glared at him. But suddenly the plane bumped. The next thing I know, I'm on top of him. I lifted my head from his chest and saw him looking at me playfully. I actually froze for a moment, not knowing what to do. "Miss Natalie, can't bear to leave my body? “ He said provocatively. I didn't realize until I heard what he said. So I quickly climbed up from his body. He was still smiling and staring at me like I was a clown. Feeling a little embarrassed, I went to the tearoom to get some drinks. I picked for a long time and finally chose hot milk. I took the hot milk and went back to my seat. After passing Dent, the plane bumped again. This time, I was sitting on his lap. All the milk in the cup spilled over his white shirt. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. “ I quickly picked up a tissue from the table and wiped the milk off his chest. But suddenly he grabbed my hand. Suddenly, I saw him running through a forest with a silver-haired werewolf. "Miss Natalie?” Just when I was immersed in the illusion, his voice pull me back. I quickly pulled my hand out of his. I didn't like the feeling of seeing into the future. "Miss Natalie, how long are you going to sit on my lap? “ That's when I realized I was still sitting on his lap. I got up quickly. I could feel my face turning red. I went back to my seat, angry at his smiling face. “Is this how you treat your future Luna? “ I said, staring at him. "I'm not the one who throws herself at me. " He said, looking very innocent. I continued to look out of the window, ignoring him. "Carl, what was that? “ Perhaps sensing my embarrassment, he stopped teasing me. He barked at the cockpit. "Beta Dent, there was some turbulence. We'll be all right after being away from the snow mountains. “ Carl, the driver, replies. I've read that airplane flights are subject to climate and turbulence and are very expensive, and there are restrictions on the area of the flight. Humans usually use airplanes, but we werewolves drive cars at best which are less likely to be seen by humans. "How can you use an airplane as a means of transportation?” I finally put my own doubts to the test. "We live in the mountains, so it's easier to fly to faraway places by plane. We have our own base in human society. “ Their pack is stronger than ours. No wonder they threatened us back then. "Instead of using your powers against vampires, you use them against your own kind!” It makes my blood boil to think of that damned peace treaty. "We're fighting vampires. Peace treaties are probably not just about preventing war.” He said mysteriously. "What do you mean? “ But he closed his eyes, and made no reply. I stopped talking to him and continued to look out of the window. At this point, we have been out of the snow mountains. I see that we live in a world of white snow, blue water and green forests. Look at that. I fell asleep, too.
