Soon, under the guidance of Liam and the Ford family, the group arrived at Greenridge.
I followed along with an uneasy heart. If I hadn't fallen into Freddy's schemes that day, this piece of land wouldn't have been forced to be sold, and no one would be bothering my mom.
Once we reached Greenridge, the geomancer, Cayden Lloyd, immediately began turning in circles with his compass, muttering under his breath as he moved.

At first, the onlookers whispered and pointed at Cayden, speculating about what he was doing. But a shout from Brandon silenced them all.
The whole ritual lasted about fifteen minutes. When it was all over, Cayden put away his compass. He walked over to Tommy and the group with narrowed eyes.
