The story of Flynn being kidnapped by human traffickers had spread like wildfire in the village, and many people had tried to help find him, but in the end, they failed to get him back.
"Ever since my brother was taken by traffickers, my parents haven't looked at me the same way," Alana said. Her face was filled with sadness and regret.
She continued, "They blame me for what happened. If I hadn't complained about my stomachache and insisted on going to the restroom that day, my mom wouldn't have left my brother outside the restroom, and he wouldn't have been taken. But Luca, why the hell does that have anything to do with me?"
At that moment, Alana's emotions spilled out a little. "Why did they blame me? Is it my fault I had a stomachache and needed to use the restroom?"
