At that moment, it seemed like my dad had completely broken down. Despite his strength, he couldn't bear to see his son get submerged in boiling water.
Upon hearing my dad's words, Brandon smiled slightly. He waved his hand, and immediately, the two men released me.

My heart skipped a beat. I realized that the place he mentioned was not Tyler's house, and my dad was lying.
