Chapter 20
Back in the country, Bradley had exhausted every resource he had, yet there was no trace of Alice. He had no idea that she had already changed her identity.
Now, all he could do was sit on the couch, staring blankly at the divorce papers she had left behind.
He had no clue how to win Alice back. He couldn't even find her. He didn't know what else he could do.
For the first time in a long while, a rare sense of panic crept into his heart.
Zachary walked in and immediately noticed the defeated look on his face.
"Maisy's parents showed up at my place. They're making a fuss, saying they can't find her. They want our help tracking her down."
"Well, it makes sense. Their daughter is missing. Of course, they'd be worried. After all, she's their flesh and blood. Families should be together, don't you think so?"
Bradley's voice was calm, as if he were discussing nothing more than a few corpses.
Before long, Daniel was dragged in by a group of bodyguards.
