Just then, the doorbell rang again. Thinking it was Ian, Evelyn went and opened the door, only to find Liam standing there, his face terrifyingly dark. "Maya, what are you doing here?" Liam's tone was furious. Seeing Liam, Maya seemed to have found her protector. She immediately threw herself into his arms, sobbing.
