Love Me or Fear Me

It's during the second year of Cynthia Stutton's marriage to Damian Gray that she grows to despise him the most. On the day she finds out she's pregnant—which also happens to be Damian's birthday—Cynthia only does two things.First, she goes to the hospital to get an abortion. Then, she turns the undeveloped embryo remains into a preserved specimen that she gave to Damian as a birthday present. As Cynthia watches Damian's eyes fill with anger, she chuckles and says, "Happy birthday. Do you like your present?"
