I woke up as soon as Mason lowered me to the bed. Blinking sleepy eyes up at him, I frowned. Mason took a seat on the edge of the bed after covering me with the sheet. Reaching out, he stroked my cheek with a fingertip. “I have to go,” he said softly. “Oh.” Mason hesitated. “We have another portal that opened in town and another one that appeared near the mountains.
