"You used to live down here?" Louise frowned, her expression a mix of disbelief and discomfort. Given his background as an illegitimate son, she could imagine he hadn't had it easy at the Ellis household. But letting a kid stay in a place like this? That was just cruel.
"Not really live here," Dominic shrugged lightly. "It was just where I came when I wanted to be alone... when I felt invisible."
