Chapter 121: Occupational Hazard

The morning started off like any other, with me entering the office. Luckily for me, however, my period ended a few days ago, leaving me as happy as a woman could be. The only unfortunate thing was Damian's warning ringing in my mind: "If you see her again, run." He had said. But why would I run? I had wanted to ask. She was skinny. Yes, she was taller than me, and yes, she probably looked like she only ate grass for a living, but I was sure I could take her in a fight if it ever came to that.
“Oh my god,” I heard the angel on my shoulder say. “You’re actually going to fight for a guy? What is wrong with you? You are losing yourself to him; you need to snap out of it.”
For some odd reason, the devil on my shoulder didn’t come out to defend Damian. Maybe it was because she knew that I would personally. If I could glare at the angel as much as I could, I would.
