Across the street.
Holden and Ronald stood in the shadows, quietly observing the scene that had just unfolded.
After a long while, the young man sneered and said, "Interesting."
Ronald had just told him that the girl he held interest in was actually the Brown family's daughter who had been switched at birth, and was now named Deborah Benson.
The man standing in front of her was presumably her biological father.
He was dressed plainly and appeared to be from a poor background, but she not only didn't mind, but also protected him.
In contrast, Brisa, who was standing across from her, and was raised by that man himself, treated him with an unfair behavior, all because she despised the poor and curried favor from the rich.
"Such an ingrate!" Holden thought.
"Ronald," Holden lazily said. "Go help them."
Ronald looked at him in surprise.
