I picked this small border town. It was neutral ground between packs where people could breathe freely.
The moment I arrived, I rented a street-front shop, planning to turn it into a small tavern.
Once the shop was clean and ready, I leaned back, hands on my hips, and let out a long sigh.
It had been nearly half a month since I left Silas and the Grimoire pack.
