Chapter 274
Bellatrix stood in front of Cillian's assigned room approximately one hour after he'd been shot.
Staring down at the door handle, she took a moment to compose both herself and her thoughts and with a deep inhale, she stepped in.
Cillian sat by the edge of his bed, staring blankly at the window, his frame still as poised as ever.
If she hadn't witnessed him getting shut, she never would have believed that he had taken a hit.
Gently, she closed the door behind her, but the soft click snapped Cillian out of whatever dream land he'd fallen into and his head snapped towards the door.
His gaze visibly softened as his eyes landed on her and Bellatrix felt her chest tighten.
“How’re you feeling?” She forced out, hoping it sounded as natural as possible.
Cillian didn't respond immediately. He'd gone back to that phase of long silence, except this time around felt vastly different.
