**Colton's POV** I could hear my father yelling in the distance. I groggily opened my eyes and noticed how dark it was. Suddenly, there was light everywhere. I stood up and looked at the scene around me. Aurore was standing next to me in her tiger form; my father, Tyler, Paul, and Logan were on one side of me; and a small pack of wolves were on my other side. "What happened?" I demanded. "You fell and when Zach realized you were knocked out, the wolves swarmed," Aurore answered looking at the ground. This time I really looked at me mate standing in front of me. She was covered in bites and scratch marks. "You're bleeding," I growled turning to face the wolves who dared to hurt my mate. "Stop," my father demanded. I was going to ignore him until he said something that caught my attention. "Your mate's hurt. You need to take her inside and have the doctor clean her wounds and stop the bleeding." I turned back t
