Pressing my lips into a line, I walk over to them where they stand harassing the receptionist.
“Why are you on my territory?” I snap at John, and he turns his attention away from the girl behind the counter, looking relieved.
“Your doctors won't answer my questions, and one hung up on my wife,” John says, pointing an accusing finger at me.
“Your point being?”
“She is our fucking daughter,” he snarls.
“What, now she’s your daughter? Because you had no issues disowning her for five years,” I snap at him, and he glares at me. Seeing him here when his daughter is on the verge of death pisses me off. He has no idea what she’s been through. None of us do.
