Summer's POV After our eventful day reviving the Felix Foundation, we returned to the Pack house with the girls chattering excitedly in the back of Alex's SUV. His hand rested possessively on my thigh during the entire drive, the warmth of his touch sending pleasant shivers through my body. The mark on my neck tingled whenever he glanced my way, our bond growing stronger with each passing moment. As Alex parked in front of the grand entrance, he turned to me with determination in his eyes. "The Northern Packs Alliance is hosting their annual gala this Saturday," he said, his thumb tracing circles on my hand. "I want you there with me, by my side as my Luna." I drew in a sharp breath. It would be my first official appearance as his mate after five years of hiding in the shadows. "Are you sure it's the right time?" I asked, though the eager gleam in his eyes already told me his answer. "I want every Alpha, Beta, and pack member to know that you've returned to me," he said, his voice drop
