Sebastian had never been like this before.
His lean frame bent low, lips brushing against Elaria's ear, voice sharp and edged like a blade.
"You into him now, huh?"
"This dress...you wore it just for him?"
"Tell me. You dressed up for Liam, didn't you? Say it!"
The lights flickered in disarray.
Elaria lifted her chin, slender neck taut. Her eyes narrowed at the furious man, and she responded in a lazy tone full of spite, "Yup, all for Liam."
Sebastian's dark eyes narrowed, hand cupping the back of her neck. His voice was cold as ice. "You're asking for it."
Outside, the rain hadn't stopped. The storm raged like a tantrum till early dawn, then finally calmed.
Inside the bedroom, the lighting was soft and dim.
Elaria lay under a thin sheet, her back turned coldly to Sebastian. "You got what you wanted. You can go now."
Sebastian had held himself back for months. Tonight gave him relief. Even with his temper still simmering, most of it had dissipated.
