Seeing the others gloating and showing signs of agreement, I let out a mocking laugh. It was the first time I realized just how frighteningly skilled Matthew was at bending the truth. I couldn't believe he could say those words with a perfectly straight face, acting as if he were completely justified. They wanted the victim to apologize to the perpetrator. How ridiculous! I turned around and nodded at Timothy in gratitude. "Thank you for everything. Since I've completed the resignation procedure, I'll get going now." Timothy flashed me an awkward smile in response. I was about to leave when the others stood in my way. "Renee, where do you think you're going? You haven't apologized to Ange yet!" "You actually resigned? Oh, I know. Even if you're able to stand up now, you can't dance anymore, right?" "I knew it. Even if you're able to stand, you're still useless. What right do you have to challenge Ange?"
