ELORA'S POV
I stepped out of Lucian’s mansion, breathing hard like I'd just fought a war and barely crawled out amongst dead bodies. My heart was still racing from the conversation we had upstairs. Lucas leaned casually against the car like he didn't just witness me get dragged by my ex husband.
When he saw me, he smiled—that soft, warm, and annoyingly charming smile.
“So? How did it go?” He asked.
“He's coming to the party,” I muttered, rubbing my temples.
His grin widened like a kid who just found out Christmas came twice in a year. He opened my door like the gentleman he is with a smile on his face.
I paused before getting in. “Lucas, I don't know what you’re planning, but this better be good. And I don't want unnecessary drama.”
He ruffled my hair like I was still that tiny girl who carried sketchbooks around the Academy and hid behind doors during training.
“Trust me, Junior. You're going to love this little plan of mine. You might hate me at first, but you'll understand.”
