Three hours after the attack ended, I was still moving among the wounded at a speed I didn't realize I possessed. Adrenaline was still coursing through my veins, keeping my hands steady as I cleaned wounds, stitched lacerations, and gave orders to the medical team.
“Marcus, I need more bandages here!” I shouted as I pressed down on a deep wound in the shoulder of a warrior named Thomas. “And someone call Dr. Helena—we need more wolfsbane antidote. Some of the enemy warriors used weapons coated with poison.”
