Chapter 65: A coincidental meeting
Owen's POV
I was on my way home after going for a drive in the city. Whenever I had a lot on my mind, I usually went for a drive. But it seemed I would have to start going for a drive every single day now because I always have one thing or the other in my mind. Riding at a very fast pace the trees went by me quickly, I thought I saw something or someone. Without realizing it, I slowed down my pace and glanced at the rearview mirror. It wasn't someone that looked like her. It was really her.
I stopped my motorbike and got down. "Miss Gonzales?" I called out walking towards her. She turned towards me in surprise.
"Owen?" she inquired. I noticed she didn't look or sound like herself. She appeared...lost.
"Why are you walking all alone on the streets?" I asked curiously.
"Did you follow me or is this a coincidence?" she asked. The breeze kept blowing her hair all over her face.
"It's a coincidence. I was on my way home when I saw you," I replied.
