Genevieve's POV
"Well? Are you ready to tell me?" I asked after a while of him staring at me silently.
"You know I can't do that. It's left for Nolan to say, not me. When you see him, ask him instead," he replied.
"You have your answer then. I can't tell you either," I responded, trying to walk past him.
"Are you really going to keep being like this? We were fine a few weeks ago. What happened that changed you all of a sudden? Is it Nolan?" he asked, refusing to bulge.
"Again with Nolan. I'm tired of you both constantly telling me what to do and what not to do. I'm my own person Owen. I can make decisions for myself," I retorted in a frustrated tone.
"And this is the decision you make? To avoid me when I did nothing wrong?" he asked.
"I need to go back to the dining table. Everyone must be waiting for me," I replied. He gently pushed me to the wall and hovered in front of me. I looked up at him in surprise.
"Everyone else can wait. Tell me whatever it is that is bothering you. I promis
