"What's this?" I asked, eyeing the plate in front of me.
"I..it's the meal you asked for miss," the maid stuttered as she trembled like a leaf. I pushed it onto the floor and the plate shattered noisily, the entire content spilling on the floor. She yelped loudly.
"Did you dare talk back at me?" I inquired standing up from my chair furiously. She shook her head vehemently.
