With heavy steps, I made my way to the bathroom, my mind consumed with exhaustion. I mustered the strength to turn on the shower and let the steaming water cascade over me, washing away the remnants of the day. As the room filled with steam, I leaned against the wall, allowing the heat to ease the stress in my muscles.
Slowly, I started to feel myself melting under the soothing water, the anger and frustration of the day dissipating with each droplet.
Once I finished showering, I wrapped myself in a soft towel and stepped out, feeling slightly more rejuvenated. I rummaged through my closet, opting for a simple pair of sweatpants and a cozy tee. Today, comfort is my top priority.
