It was a freezing night, wind howling outside.
I hadn't even gotten off the freeway when the car suddenly died on me. Left with no choice, I pulled over to the emergency lane.
Perfect. Just perfect. I was irritated, furrowing my brows as I called Ethan Morgan, asking him to send someone to pick me up from the highway and take me to the airport.
