I froze for a second—then it hit me. Ronald really had no clue that the man I wrote about in my journal... was him.
That thought oddly calmed me down a bit. I yanked my hand from his with a snap, straightened my back and threw him a mock-smile that didn’t reach my eyes.
"I can kiss whoever I want. I never questioned what you and Grace had going on, so do me a favor and stay out of my business too."
His hand hung mid-air for a beat before I slapped it away. He gave a low scoff right next to my ear.
"So what you're saying is, no matter how many women I have, I should shut up if you're also drooling over someone else? Even if you're planning on turning me into a walking joke?"
Of course, that wasn’t what I meant. But then again... so what if it was?
We were getting divorced anyway.
“Can you spare me the drama? Just go change already. If we miss the flight, that’s on you.”
